Jim was able to get us into his schedule in less than a week. When he arrived to survey our move and give us the bid, I was a bit shell-shocked at the amount -- However, when his guys arrived, they went right to work and did not stop until the job was complete. They were also easy to work with, personable and careful. The move went very smoothly and we would use them again!

I give Good Hands Movers five stars and two bonus thumbs up for helping with a local move from one part of town to another. He was quick to respond and able to lineup the last-minute help we needed to get the job done, and done fast! It's easy to forget how tedious and exhausting moving is when you try to do it yourself. Don't even bother -- Just call Good Hands Movers!

Don't ever risk hurting yourself or friends that offer to help you move big furniture items again! I needed a couch and large heavy bed frame moved today and Good Hands made it happen quickly and professionally. I had a quote within 20 minutes of requesting one. Don't expect dirt-cheap moving service BUT I know a hospital bill for an injury would've cost me at least 10 times more!!! Jim's team was awesome!

We found these guys on the Neighborhood app in Oak Park. They came highly recommended, so I gave Jim a call. They were AMAZING! They worked so hard, moved everything from a two-story townhouse into their truck and then into the new house. The two guys worked tirelessly and treated each item as if their own. I would highly recommend using them. They are honest, hard-working and really pleasant. Jim and his co-worker were a joy to work with.

Jim was very polite on the phone when I had first called and inquired about needing some moving services to help relocate myself to a retirement home in the Westlake area and his guys that moved me were great! They were very careful with my belongings and helped make this transition as easy as possible for me -- Highly recommend!

We used their services in Oct 2019 and we are using them again to help us move into our house. They were awesome! They were very careful with the furniture, went out of their way to make sure they avoided all possible dings. Super nice guys, and they knew how to make the furniture fit! Very reasonable pricing as well! They are worth giving them a good tip (just FYI if you were thinking about it). If you go with bigger companies, make sure you talk to them instead of asking for a quote online. There are a bunch of hidden fees! Give these guys a call first -- shop around! You won't be disappointed.

I found these guys on Craigslist and went with them because their prices were fair; Not too low to be shady and not too high to be outrageously expensive either. I've been burned by fake 5-star reviews on Yelp, so I decided to go with my gut on Craigslist, so my rating is based purely on my experience with this company. There is no muss/fuss when you go with these guys. There isn't a lot of gimmicky advertising or creepy sales pitches. They arrive when they say they will, their pricing is fair and they speak English! They get down to business and are friendly but not overly chatty so that they get the work done in the time frame requested. They are professional and are so careful with not only your furniture, but also your home. For instance, there was mud in front of our house that had to be traversed before entering. The movers carefully laid blankets down in the entry way to the house and only walked on the blankets while methodically bringing in our furniture and placing them in the entryway. Once full, with clean feet they proceeded to place the furniture in their respective locations throughout the house. This professionalism and experience was extended to all aspects of items they moved. They took great care not to damage walls, were efficient with their movements but NOT so hasty as to be careless. I cannot guarantee they will do it for everyone, but I even called them up last-minute to help me with a mad dash to finish clearing the last miscellaneous items in the house. They happened to have a cancellation and was in the area and didn't charge me the gas fee associated with the service as they were already here. They didn't just go by the clock and performed some tasks that were outside of their realm of obligation (like battling some black widows). Overall, I would recommend this company.

Jim and Marty moved us last weekend and I could not be happier. They were professional and caring, even with Grandma's armorer that required special handling. Jim and his colleague were great -- I had to move a heavy sectional couch, table and other items from Agoura Hills to Venice. They were on time, gave me a call the day before to confirm, and were very easy to work with, from initial call to final payment. Very good rates (my total bill was $200). Very nice people and efficient, we got the job done in a couple of hours and they took very good care of my couch and table, wrapping the couch in shrink wrap. I would definitely use again if I need to move my house. Thanks for a great job, well done guys!

I wish I could give 10 stars! My husband was very sick on the day of the move, and without these 3 guys and their amazing work ethic, I would have been completely lost! I was so impressed with after a 15-hour day still smiling and never once losing the absolute care and concern of moving our family. Totally professional and not one ding or scratch, even set up all the beds, which we were all so grateful for after such a long day! They were better priced than ANY other moving company as well! These guys are hands-down unbelievable. I've moved 4 times in LA and have always had mixed experiences. Jim and Joe exceeded every expectation and then some. We had such a complicated move -- 2 different locations to pick up furniture from, a 3-story apartment to move things into; They did it all with a smile on and a cheery attitude.
