When my mother broke her hip last year, I had the overwhelming task of cleaning out over 50 years of accumulating “treasures” from her home in preparation for her return home from the hospital. Since I had no idea where to even start, I did an internet search using key words such as “clutter removal” and “junk removal.” While I know one man’s trash is another one’s treasure, I knew there was more trash than treasure. Time was of the essence as she couldn’t return home until it was able to be deemed safe for her to do so and a hospital bed was part of the equipment she now required.
